While we were strolling at the mall last weekend, there were so many people of all ages that were in the mall. Perhaps, the same with us, they were trying to cool off because it was such a hot weekend.

I love to people watch and that was what we did while we were in the mall. We noticed a couple who were wearing a customized tshirt. It was a white tshirt printed with red. I am excited for my sister. In less than a month, she will be going home to our native land. She will be there ahead of her husband. Mommy and Me - Mall

It was over a 100degrees yesterday... I hate summer!

We decided to go to the mall to cool off and walk around. The mall was PACKED! It was not even cool inside the mall. Kids are everywhere which is a pleasant sight for me.

We rented this "car thing". It is kinda expensive because it is $5 (yeah I know I am cheap!). It is worth the money as I would hate to carry Andrea around. Once you return this car you will get $1 which actually we didn't as the machine didn't give us our dollar!

We enjoyed walking around the mall and had some cinnamon sticks. Andrea got her treat a strawberry/yogurt smoothie!

It was just too hot for me... I got home with a headache :(

Recently my wife and I decided and took a trip to Maui in the Hawaiian Island Chain. Before we choose this destination we did a lot of planning for our trip online via our satellite internet service Kentucky. We had a bunch of options and we wanted to narrow down our options and choices as quickly as possible so it helped having a speedy hughes internet connection.

We were a little hesitant at first after we did our research at booking our trip online so we visited a local travel agency just to see how much if any price difference existed. The travel agents we went to were dull and boring and most had no clue about where we were going or what we wanted to do which was frustrating. This made the online system seem like the best option because we could read other peoples reviews of hotels and restaurants.

After much deliberation we choose to book this trip through an online service and it was great. Our tickets for our flights were perfect, the hotel was just as described and we had no issues to speak of. I know sometimes it can be a little scary to do things online but trust me it's worth it. Next time you're thinking about taking a summer vacation do yourself a favor and be sure and do it online. It's easier faster and just plain fun.

Mommy and Me - Restaurant

Most weekends, I am off from being a "chef". Hubby cooks dinner for us but every once in a while we like to go out to eat.

We had fun with our dining out yesterday. It rained so hard while we were eating. It was still raining when we got out of the restaurant but Andrea enjoyed the water sprinkling in her face while we were walking to our car in the parking lot.

I wonder what Andrea is thinking... she looks at me like she noticed something...

I wanted a picture. Andrea decided to run so I have to chase her...
